INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch)
(a) Install the front seat.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(b) Connect the seat wire connectors under the seat.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
.
Torque: 5.4 N·m (55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf)

(d) Operate the leg support adjustment switch to move the seat cushion to the closed position. |
(e) Operate the power seat switch to move the seat to the rearmost position.

(f) Install the 2 bolts. Torque: 37 N·m (374 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf) |
(g) Operate the power seat switch to move the seat to the foremost position.
|
(h) Install the 2 bolts. Torque: 37 N·m (374 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf) |
2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Leg Support Adjustment Switch)
(a) Install the front seat.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(b) Connect the seat wire connectors under the seat.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER LH
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track cover.
4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER INNER LH
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track cover.
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Inspect the SRS warning light
.
7. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Memory)
(a) Check the power seat operation
.
8. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Memory)
(a) Check the power seat operation
.
9. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Check the seat heater operation.
(1) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(2) When the seat heater switch is turned ON, check that the indicator light illuminates, and that the seat surface warms up in approximately 5 minutes.
(3) When the seat heater switch's volume switch is operated, check that the seat surface temperature changes.
10. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
(a) Check the climate control operation
